This update is in regards to LU 1186 FCU.
We are open for business and have no plans on closing, but as of today, March 23rd, Local Union 1186 Federal Credit Union will need your cooperation to call or email us to service you as we will not be seeing anyone face to face as long as this COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread.
While our physical doors will be closed to avoid the spread of COVID-19, we will be working as usual to make sure that all of your credit union needs are met. Please email or call us with your requests and we will do our best to process your requests as quick as we possibly can.
We will continue servicing you by mailing your checks to you, and if you have loan payments that need to be dropped off, you can drop them off in the drop box (checked several times a day). In addition, we will make sure that payroll is processed as usual (company payroll will still be ACH, done every morning, and manual payroll from the mail will be done as long as mail is delivered). Sharedraft exceptions and ATM exceptions will still be processed daily.
