IBEW LOCAL 1186 “Saving Lives” on Sept 12th from 8 am-2 pm

IBEW Local 1186 will be having their first annual “IBEW Local 1186 Saving Lives” blood drive to support the Blood Bank of Hawaii. This will be held at the Akito Blackie Fujikawa building, the union hall, on Saturday September 12th, from 8 AM-2 PM. More than ever before, blood is needed and with the current pandemic, hospitals are at near capacity with patients that need blood.

You do NOT need to be a member to donate blood for our blood drive – anyone over the age of 16, meeting certain health requirements, can donate blood. If you have recently donated blood, as long as there was an eight-week period from the last time you donated, you will be able to participate.

Due to the pandemic, the physical blood drive on Sept 12th will be by appointment only. However, if you cannot make it to the hall that day, you can still donate for our worthy cause using our sponsor code #3040.

Schedule your appointment here. Search available drives for our blood drive and select the appointment time most convenient for you.
