Business Manager/Financial Secretary Damien Kim is currently working with the Lieutenant Governor Josh Green and the Department of Health to put us on the list under 1C to move up our vaccination eligibility. In the meantime, please read below which is info from the AFL-CIO re: COVID Vaccinations as of today, January 15, 2021.

Kaiser Permanente is administering the vaccination to their subscribers who fall into Tier 1B: seniors, 75 years and older, and frontline essential workers. You may receive an email from Kaiser if you are 75 years and older that will allow you to schedule. Both groups can call 808-432-0000 to schedule an appointment. For frontline essential workers, you will need to show them your paystub, badge, and photo ID to prove that you are an essential worker.

HMSA does not have the same option since they are not a hospAlso, the person accompanying the senior over 75 can also get the vaccination but must make arrangements when they make the appointment for the senior. ital but are an insurance provider and are limited to what they can do by the Department of Health. They have said to contact your physician or to go through your employer.

Hawaii Pacific Health patients are encouraged to sign-up for or activate their MyChart accounts as it will be the easiest way to schedule vaccination appointments: Sign-up for MyChart here.
