Aloha IBEW Local 1186 members,
I hope all is well and that you and your family are safe and healthy. This year has proven to be trying in so many ways, and tested our strength like never before. From having to wear masks whenever we leave our homes, to having to constantly sanitize our hands, to social distancing, everything in our new norm is different and has been an adjustment for us to get used to. To you, all of our members: We truly appreciate your sacrifice every single day to go to work, while having to juggle your family’s situation(s) throughout this pandemic, to also putting yourself at risk, and lastly, being as diligent as you can by following social distancing guidelines and state mandates. While the year has been rough, we have shown the world what we are about – we are a resilient people, and strong membership that much of Hawaii depends upon and we are definitely essential, but more importantly, vital to Hawaii’s critical infrastructure. I hope that throughout this Christmas season/as you ring in 2021, you are blessed with good health, and happiness in the coming year. Happy Holidays!
As a reminder, our office will be open from 7:30-11:30 AM on both Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24, 2020) and New Year’s Eve (Thursday, December 31, 2020) and closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
