If you have not yet been able to schedule a vaccination appointment at Safeway or at our pod last month, the City & County of Honolulu opened up a pod at Leeward Community College (LCC) and has appointment openings today and next week for essential workers including construction.

Appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations are now available to workers of Essential Businesses at a clinic being held at Leeward Community College (Leeward CC). The clinic is being conducted under a partnership between the City and County of Honolulu and the Hawai‘i State Department of Health.The authorized essential business groups that are eligible for vaccinations include employees from hotels, restaurants, bars, critical infrastructure, harbor and transportation services, grocery stores, and other employment categories identified by the State Department of Health. The Leeward CC vaccination clinic currently services clients Tuesday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are released as vaccinations are secured. An online appointment must be secured and walk-ins are not allowed. Currently, the Leeward CC vaccination site will only administer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.If you qualify as an essential business worker, you may sign up for a vaccine and find more information at https://www.oneoahu.org/lcc-vaccine.
